Hi, I'm Julia, founder of KOVA Consulting. I'm a recruiting professional — but what I really love is people: figuring out what someone is good at, where they'll thrive, and making the right match between a person, a role, and a company.

For the past eight years, I've worked in-house leading full-cycle recruiting across a wide range of positions from operations, finance, tech, and executive leadership. That range taught me something most single-department recruiters never see: the same instincts that fill an ops role well are the ones that spot the right CFO or the right VP of Engineering. Great matching isn't industry-specific. It's a skill.

Along the way, my role naturally expanded into coaching, and I help hiring managers and the people I placed to keep growing, both personally and professionally. I use different tools to understand how someone is wired and help people build the best version of themselves.

I'm also a Bay Area native who's always on the hunt for the best matcha latte with my dog and cat in tow.
